I wore them to my gym where I first tested them by doing a 6 mile treadmill run at a 5.5-7.0 speed and a 1% grade. I was soaked and yes there was sweat running down my legs from the heat factor. There were also little puddles of sweat left behind on floors. I just have a towel or wipes handy to "mop up". Personally, I love being hot while exercising. If you do not or suffer from something like hot flashes, these pants might not work for you. If you hate to sweat, you are probably not going to like the pant either. In the past I have owned several jackets and hoodies that fit fine around the body but were too short in the sleeves. The jacket has 2 large inside pockets that can store several small items. This jacket is almost identical to the softshell North Face jacket that retains for about $200 except it has the CAT logo on it (which I prefer much more than the North Face logo anyway).
